Francisca Rodrigues graduated in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Faculty of Pharmacy - University of Porto (FFUP) in 2008, and finished a Master in Quality Control at FFUP in 2011. In 2012 she was awarded by FCT with a PhD scholarship in collaboration with a cosmetic industry and in 2016 she finished her PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences in the same University. Between 2016 and 2018 she was a Postdoc Researcher at LAQV/REQUIMTE-FFUP and in 2019 she moved to REQUIMTE/LAQV-ISEP. Her current research is focused on the study of new ingredients based on food by-products and their application in cosmetic and nutraceutical fields. In particular, her expertise is focus on in vitro, ex vivo and in vivo assays.
