(Chemical) Bonding is what makes life possible

Cláudia Galinha has a 5-year degree in Biological Engineering at IST-UL, and a PhD in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering at FCT-NOVA (2012). She is currently a Researcher at FCT-NOVA.
Her domain of specialization was in Monitoring Membrane Bioreactors using fluorescence spectroscopy and multivariate data analysis.
Current research interests: Monitoring of biological and membrane processes (with focus on microalgae); Machine learning applied to complex chemical/biochemical processes; Fluorescence spectroscopy; Development of soft sensors.
She published 33 papers, 19 of them since 2019; participated/participates in 10 National and International Projects, and was/is Principal investigator in 3 European projects.
