Ricardo Salgado (RS) holds a PhD degree in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering, a MSc in Ecology and a MSc in Aquaculture. Currently, RS is Assistant Professor at the Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal (IPS), coordinates the graduation course in Environmental and Marine Technologies at IPS. He is researcher at LAQV/REQUIMTE research center, at the Universidade NOVA de Lisboa. His research interests are related with environmental engineering, biotechnology, micropollutant analysis (GC-MS, LC-MS/MS, SPE and SPME), photolysis and MP/UV radiation, water treatment and wastewater treatment plants and aquaculture production.
