(Chemical) Bonding is what makes life possible

Carina Proença has a Master in Control of Quality (2015) and a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences with specialization in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry (2021), by Faculty of Pharmacy of University of Porto. She is currently a Researcher in the project "Desenvolvimento de novos inibidores de osteossarcoma invasivo, baseado em derivados de fisetina" (PTDC/MED-QUI/29243/2017) at LAQV@REQUIMTE.
Her research is focused on the biological properties of phenolic compounds, especially on the evaluation of their antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antidiabetic and anticancer activities. She has published a total of 15 articles in international peer reviewed journals, and participated in several national and international scientific conferences.
