I am an Assistant Researcher at the Chemistry Department, Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia, Universidade Nova de Lisboa. I hold a Masters Degree in Organic and Analytical Chemistry from the University of Sofia, Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy and a Ph.D. in Polymers Chemistry and Technology from the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy, Sofia.
My experience and research interests include synthetic organic chemistry; natural products derived materials; carbohydrate derivatives; microwave assisted synthesis; drug-discovery; synthesis of biodegradable and biocompatible polymers; self-assembly structures; polymeric nanoparticles; targeted drug-delivery.
