Researcher
Fátima Fernandes is a Researcher of REQUIMTE, working at FFUP, and an integrated Member of the "Natural Products: Chemistry and Bioactivity" group. She is (co)-author of 29 papers published in international peer-reviewed journals and 2 book chapters. Her research works have been also presented in several national and international meetings. Her scientific and academic activity include the participation in research projects, organization and management of scientific events and reviewer role, teaching-related activities, supervising activity and participation in juries of public examinations. Her main research interest has been focused on the chemical characterization of natural matrices and on the study of their biological properties.
