Position
Technician
Sílvia Azevedo holds a BSc in Agroindustrial Engineering, from Escola Superior Agrária de Beja, and a graduation in Food Technology, from Escola Superior Agrária de Coimbra. She also has a course in Science of Laboratory Animals, Category B. Sílvia has a long professional experience as laboratory technician, first at AGROS and then at Biomedical Sciences Institute of Abel Salazar (ICBAS-UP), where she is now a Senior Technician. Over the last 20 years, Sílvia collaborated in the research works of national and international projects, in the research works of BSc, MSc and PhD students of Faculty of Sciences, University of Porto (FCUP) and ICBAS-UP and also on the support of several laboratorial practices of unit courses of FCUP and ICBAS-UP.
