LAQV REQUIMTE

(Chemical) Bonding is what makes life possible

Filipe Teixeira

Back
Filipe Teixeira obtained his PhD in Sustainable Chemistry in 2014, at the University of Porto and and NOVA - New University of Lisbon. He is presently a Researcher at LAQV-REQUIMTE. He is an all-purpose computational chemistry researcher, bringing together expertise in Physics and Chemistry and combining it with a strong affinity for programming, he keeps a broad perspective on chemistry driving him to seek new and different challenges in every project.

He strives for long-lasting experimental-theoretical collaborations playing a central role in his research. He further aims to create awareness about the power of computational research in both the general public, as well as in the academic community.
