My scientific research area is Chemical Engineering, Unit Operations & Transport Phenomena. My research emphasis is Adsorption Science & Technology, Materials Engineering and Environmental Biotechnology. In my work I have a multidisciplinary approach to solve bottom-up problems in the gas adsorption research. When I look to the small details of an adsorption process, I focus my attention on the key adsorbent which ultimately defines its performance. I am Assistant Professor at FCT NOVA and Researcher at REQUIMTE.
