André Melo is graduated in Chemistry by the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon. In 1999, he finished his PhD in Theoretical Chemistry at the Faculty of Sciences of University of Porto. He is currently Assistant Professor in the same Faculty and member of the LAQV@REQUIMTE research center. He is coauthor of 63 scientific papers. His research interests are: Theoretical Chemistry, Molecular Interactions, Energy Partitioning, Materials and Ionic Liquids.
