I am a PhD student working at the Molecular Biophysics and Biotechnology group (Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Porto). In 2016, I got my master degree in Bioengineering with specialization in Molecular Biotechnology (University of Porto, Portugal). During my master thesis, I developed lipid nanoparticles for drug delivery to target pathogenic bacteria. Currently, my research is focused in nanotechnology strategies to treat bacterial biofilms associated to orthopedic implants.
