Joana Magalhães (JM) is a Contracted Researcher in LAQV@REQUIMTE, working in the area of Medical and Health Sciences with emphasis on nanomedicines for infectious diseases. Her work is focused on the development of nanodelivery systems for the treatment of sensitive and multi-drug resistant tuberculosis, under the project PTDC/BTM-MAT/30624/2017.
Overall, JM is the co-author of 11 publications (5 as first-author) in prestigious peer-reviewed journals most in top journals (Q1), and the first-author of 2 invited book chapters.
