Diana concluded her PhD (May 2019) in the area of homogeneous catalysis and desulfurization of fuels. In the last years, Diana developed her expertise in preparation and catalytic application of various polyoxometalates and coordination metal compounds in different oxidative systems, but mainly in oxidative desulfurization technology. Her PhD resulted from a collaboration work between CICECO, LAQV@REQUIMTE and the Galp industry. Currently, she is a researcher at LAQV@REQUIMTE of a financed FCT project (PTDC/CTM-CTM/31983/2017) in the area of oxidative catalytic processes to transform glycerol into high-value fine chemicals. Diana is the author of 21 papers and 1 chapter book, with an h-index of 10 and with 446 citations.
