Academic Staff
Ph.D. (2004) in Chemical Engineering at Faculdade de Engenharia, Universidade do Porto. She joined the Chemical Engineering Department at Instituto Superior de Engenharia, Instituto Politécnico do Porto as Assistant (1993) and as Adjunct Professor in 1998. She is a permanent researcher at REQUIMTE–LAQV. Her main research interests include environmental chemistry and food safety and nutrition, particularly the development of analytical methodologies based on Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (HS, GF, FL), Potentiometry and Chromatographic techniques (LC-DAD-FLD) and different extraction techniques (SPE, MAE, QuEChERS). She is the author and co-author of 32 papers in international peer-reviewed scientific journals and Supervised 1 PhD thesis.
