My name is Bruno Jarrais, I have a Ph.D. in Sustainable Chemistry from the Faculty of Science of University of Porto. I’m currently a researcher at REQUIMTE – LAQV, focusing on carbon nanomaterials functionalization, heteroatom doping and advanced characterization. My Ph.D. focused on the chemical functionalization of carbon nanotubes and graphene flakes through oxidation methods and heteroatom doping, their characterization and application as heterogeneous catalysts in selective oxidation and reduction reactions. I am the author/co-author of 9 peer-reviewed journal articles, 24 national/international congress communications, 1 patent application, and 1 book chapter (in press).
