Joana Amaral is Adjunct Professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança, integrated member of CIMO and collaborator member of REQUIMTE-LAQV. She has a degree and a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences (2006). Her research interests are related to food authenticity, nutraceutical and bioactive compounds in foods, food by-products and natural products, essential oils characterization and bioactivity of natural products.
