Agostinho Almiro de Almeida (Arouca, 31-10-1962), graduated in Pharmaceutical Sciences (FFUP, 1986), PhD in Analytical Chemistry (FFUP, 2000). Assistant Professor at FFUP, since 2000. Teaching experience in Analytical Chemistry, Instrumental Methods of Analysis, Instruments, Techniques and Methods in Clinical Laboratory, Bioinorganic Chemistry, Trace Elements in Clinical Chemistry/Toxicology. Area of scientific activity: Trace element in health and disease. Trace element analysis - development and validation of analytical procedures; food, environmental, pharmaceutical, forensic and clinical/toxicological applications.
