Rita Cabrita is an Assistant Professor at Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas Abel Salazar – Universidade do Porto, member of the scientific committee of the PhD course in Animal Science, of the steering committee of the SANFEED, PhD course in Animal Science in an industrial setting, and of the kennel monitoring committee. She is an integrated researcher of the LAQV@REQUIMTE.
RC supervised 3 Post-Doc and 4 PhD students and is currently supervising/co-supervising 3 PhD students. She was member of the research team of 18 projects (national and international), including 5 as PI.
She authored two book chapters, and 56 articles published in international peer-reviewed journals in the animal nutrition field.
