My research interests focus on Botany, Systematics, Ethnobotany, Medicinal Chemistry, and Plant Conservation. I completed a Master's degree in Applied Ecology in 2022 at the University of Aveiro, following a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the same institution in 2020. I have published five articles in peer-reviewed journals, one of which as first author, and two others as first author. I have also published a field guide on the flora of an urban park and presented a scientific poster at ENE2023. In 2022, I received a grant from the European SYNTHESIS+ program to finance a visit to the Naturalis Biodiversity Center in the Netherlands. Additionally, I provided services to the Biology Department of the University of Aveiro in support of the provision of services to Floradata- Biodiversidade, Ambiente e Recursos Naturais, Lda, within the scope of the CART-PGRN2000 project, Operação Poseur-03-2215- FC000005, of the ICNF, and I worked at the Herbarium of the University of Aveiro (AVE) under a research grant until May 2024.
