Completed the integrated master's in Environmental Engineering in 2021 by Universidade Nova de Lisboa Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia. Attends the PhD in Environment and Sustainability by Universidade Nova de Lisboa Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia since 2023. Currently working on his PhD project called “UPSludge - Upcycling of Water Treatment Plant Sludge - The low-cost adsorbent barrier for the Removal of Pollutants of Emerging Concern in Wastewater”. This project aims to use Drinking Water Treatment Plant Residuals (DWTR) as granular adsorbents of Pollutants of Emerging Concern (PEC) present in the European Union Watch List, ensuring the reuse and safe discharge of treated wastewater. Published 3 articles in journals. Has received 1 award. Participated as a Research Fellow in 1 project. Works in the area of Engineering and Technology with emphasis on Environmental Engineering.
