Margarida Teixeira (MT) graduated in Biochemistry in 2021 at the University of Coimbra and got her MSc in Biochemistry in 2023 at the University of Porto. Currently, MT is a Research Fellow under the scope of the FCT-financed project “Anthocyanin-Rich Edible Flowers: towards an emerging, more sustainable and healthier diet” (DOI: 10.54499/2022.01014.PTDC). During her MSc thesis, which focused on studying the potential of anthocyanin-rich edible flowers (EF) as an alternative food source, MT published two scientific papers as first author, and has presented her MSc work in national and international scientific events in both panel and oral communications. Emphasizing in particular her oral presentation at the 16th Edition of the Young Research Meeting at the University of Porto, which granted her the distinction of “Best oral communication in the Agrofood panel”.
