Vitória Dibo has a BSc in Chemistry (2019) and a MSc in Physical Chemistry (2022) both from Universidade Federal do Ceará (UFC), Brazil. Additionally, she obtained an equivalence to the BSc (180 credits) and to the MSc (120 credits) awarded by Universidade do Porto, Portugal, with a final score of 16 (0-20) and 19 (0-20), respectively. She was a scientific initiation student (2015 to 2019) and a masters researcher (2019 to 2022) at the Bioinorganic Laboratory, UFC, Brazil. There she developed knowledge in electrochemistry, correlated with spontaneous adsorption processes (self-assembled monolayers) of sulphur compounds onto gold substrates with potential applications in electrocatalysis and sensors/biosensors devices. Her skills include electrochemical (such as voltammetry, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, square-wave voltammetry, among others); spectroscopic (FTIR, UV-vis, Raman/SERS); piezoeletric (E-QCM) and plasmonic (SPR) techniques. In the beginning of 2023, she was contracted as Researcher through a competitive project (NATURIST, FCT, 2023-2025) where she has been involved in the development of novel green electrochemical platforms to guarantee fish safety and surveil ecosystems. Furthermore, at the end of 2023, she was awarded with a PhD scholarship financed by FCT (Reference 2023.04202.BD) to develop activities related NATURIST project.
