Nicole Ferreira started her PhD in Chemistry in 2022 at University of Aveiro. She completed her MSc in Analytical Chemistry in 2021 and her Bachelor in Chemistry in 2019, both at the University of Aveiro. Her current scientific interests include method validation, laboratory accreditation, remediation of contaminated water, and the recovery of critical raw material through the use of graphene-based materials. Nicole actively participates in the dissemination of knowledge in schools and the community, organizing various seminars, workshops and other events (e.g. Academia de verão of University of Aveiro, Junior Chemistry Olympics, Chemistry Olympics +, Techdays, and Casa das Ciências). Nicole Ferreira (h-index=11; 251 citations) participated in 1 research project and is the author of 22 scientific articles in international peer-reviewed journals, 1 newsletter article, 1 book chapter and 18 scientific communications (8 international and 10 national).
