Thainara Viana started her PhD in Chemistry in 2022 at University of Aveiro. She completed her MSc in Molecular Biotechnology in 2021 and her Bachelor in Biotechnology in 2019, both at the University of Aveiro. Her current scientific interests include environmental and molecular biotechnology, remediation of contaminated water, and the recovery of elements of high economic value through the use of living macroalgae. Thainara actively participates in the dissemination of knowledge in schools and the community, organizing various seminars, workshops and other events (e.g. Academia de verão of University of Aveiro, Junior Chemistry Olympics, Chemistry Olympics + and Techdays, Casa das Ciências). Thainara Viana participated in 1 research project and is the author of 21 scientific articles in international peer-reviewed journals, 1 newsletter article and 16 scientific communications (8 international and 8 national).
