Agostinho Cruz, is Full Professor at School of Health, Polytechnic Institute of Porto.
He has the habilitation in Ecology and Environmental Health (Fernando Pessoa University); PhD in Biomedical Sciences, MSc in Applied Ecology, degree in Biology (University of Porto) and bachelor of Pharmacy (Polytechnic Institute of Porto, School of Health).
Currently, he is interested on the study of antiparasitic activity of bioactive compounds.
Coordinated/participated in 11 research projects. He has published over 50 papers and 3 book chapters. He has supervised 3 PhD theses, 30 MSc theses.
