André Amador has a Bachelor Degree in Biochemistry and is currently completing his Master in Biotechnology (at NOVA FCT, Lisboa Portugal). His research interests are reaction mechanisms and enzyme/protein structure and mechanisms of action. Currently, André is studying formate dehydrogenase enzymes, aiming to develop a biocatalytic system to convert carbon dioxide into added-value compounds, under the supervision of Luisa Maia, integrated in the "CO2 Free" project (PTDC/BTA-BTA/0935/2020).
