I received my PhD degree in Chemical Engineering from FCT NOVA in 2004. I have a MBA from FCEE/UCP (2005).
In 2007 I worked in project finance at BANCO BPI (2007). I was Assistant Researcher (2008-2013) and Principal Researcher (2013-2016) at ITQB. I moved to FCT NOVA and started working in LAQV/REQUIMTE since 2016.
I have published 124 papers with 7651 citations, a number of self-citations < 6%, an h-index of 39 and a k-index of 179. (SCOPUS data 17-09-2020).
I have been PI/co-PI of 6 projects and member of the team in another 17 in a total financing for the group of more than 2 M€. I am/was supervisor/co-supervisor of five PhD students.
I am currently a member of the Executive Comission of LAQV/REQUIMTE @ Caparica, 2018- present.
