Ana Miranda holds a PhD in History with a thesis on the learned men of al-Andalus during the eleventh century CE. Her main research lines are History of al-Andalus, and History of the Medieval Mediterranean.
She is a postdoc fellow at the Archaeology of Colour project (PTDC/ART-OUT/5992/2020), in which she studies colour production in al-Andalus and in the Islamicate world in a social, economic, and normative perspective.
