Patrícia Sobral is a PhD candidate in Sustainable Chemistry at FCT NOVA, working in the Chemoinformatics Lab at LAQV and within the Glycoimmunology group at UCIBIO. She completed her master’s thesis at Hovione, where she implemented portable NMR as a sustainable alternative to GC for in-process control analysis, reducing solvent use and operational costs. Her interests include green chemistry applications in biomedicine, immunotherapy, and sustainable analytical method development.
Since 2022, she has been working in chemoinformatics, applying computational and data-driven approaches to support her current research on glycoimmune targets—including Siglecs, IL-1R1, and PD-1/PD-L1—within the CAR T-Matters project.
