Joana N. Martins has a BSc. and MSc. degree in Biochemistry, obtained at the NOVA School of Sciences and Technology (FCT NOVA). Joana has completed her MSc. Degree Thesis at Laboratório Associado para a Química Verde (LAQV-REQUIMTE, FCT NOVA) in the Cultural Heritage and Responsive Materials Research Group (CHARM), which is titled "Supramolecular Sensors for Biologically Relevant Analytes", under the supervision of Assistant Researcher Doctor Nuno Basílio and Associate Professor João C. Lima. Currently, she is pursuing a PhD degree, with a thesis on the theme "Ditopic Supramolecular Optical Sensors for the Ratiometric and Sequence-Selective detection of Peptides".
