(Chemical) Bonding is what makes life possible

Isabela holds a Bachelor degree in Biochemistry (University of Aveiro, 2019) and a Master Degree in Molecular Biomedicine (University of Aveiro, 2021). Currently, she is a PhD student in Sustainable Chemistry working on the development of new flavonoid based compounds to target the TGF-beta signaling in osteosarcoma at Faculty of Pharmacy (University of Porto) and at Chemistry Department (University of Aveiro).

Previous work includes the synthesis of new porphyrin derivatives and their application in photodynamic therapy against microorganisms (aPDI) in 2019.
