Position
Researcher
Rita Craveiro is a PhD in Sustainable Chemistry (2015), by Universidade Nova de Lisboa, has published several scientific papers, one book chapter, is co-inventor of two provisonal patents. Her area of expertise is related with chemistry, biotechnology and alternative solvents, in the areas or CO2 capture and utilization and biocatalysis. She is focused on creating projects which comply with the green chemistry philosophy. She has experience in structural characterization of proteins/enzymes, in its encapsulation in inorganic matrices, in the synthesis of microporous materials and in their characterization through several different experimental techniques. She works with ionic liquids, deep eutectic solvents and supercritical CO2.
