(Chemical) Bonding is what makes life possible

Sara Valente obtained her BSc in Biochemistry and her MSc in Biochemistry, both at the University of Coimbra. In her MSc thesis, Sara studied the effect of estradiol on mitochondrial performance during osteoblast differentiation as a way to discover new targets to counteract osteoporosis. Currently, Sara is working at University of Aveiro with a master research grant developing microparticles for the pulmonary delivery of insulin.
