Laura Ferreira completed the Integrated Master in Pharmaceutical Sciences, at Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Coimbra (FFUC) in 2016. From 2016 to 2018, she worked on quality control of cosmetics, medical devices, and other products, at a consulting company specialized in regulatory and laboratory services for the cosmetic industry. In 2018 she obtained a doctoral fellowship under the PhD program 'Drugs R&D', from the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Coimbra, together with Laboratories Basi - Pharmaceutical Industry S.A, for the development of novel injectable formulations.
