Ana Margarida Silva is a PhD student in Sustainable Chemistry. She holds a degree in Applied Biology at University of Minho in 2016, and a master’s degree in Quality Control at FFUP in 2018. Between 2018 and 2019 she was a technical assistant of safety and efficacy studies at Inovapotek, that provides R&D and testing services to the pharmaceutical and personal care industries. In 2019 she was awarded with a PhD scholarship by Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) and initialized her project in 2020 at REQUIMTE/LAQV-ISEP. Her PhD project is focused on the valorization and characterization of kiwiberry leaves extracts obtained by green extraction techniques, aiming to be used as active ingredients in skin formulations.
