In 2019, Filipa Soares finished her master's degree in Bioengineering (specialization in Biological Engineering) at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto. From September 2019 until now, Filipa Soares has been working as a research fellow at FFUP/LAQV - Requimte. The main research activity has been focused on the development, optimization and characterization of hybrid nanosystems based on membrane lipids and SPIONs, considering a future application on biofilms disruption.
