Pedro obtained a Bachelor degree in Biochemistry by the University of Aveiro (UA), in 2017 and in 2019, obtained the Master degree in Clinical Biochemistry, by the same institution.

Pedro Gomes is also co-author of two oral communications and is first author of a poster communication presented in the “XXVI Encontro Nacional da Sociedade Portuguesa de Química”, occurred at July 24-26/2019 at the “Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade do Porto”. Currently, Pedro Gomes is research fellow of the project “Estudos interdisciplinares in silico, de síntese orgânica, in vitro e in vivo para desenvolvimento de novas estruturas de flavonoides com atividade antidiabética"
