My research has been concerned in the alterations in the polar lipid profile of the microalgae upon different environmental and growth conditions and evaluates the bioactive properties of the lipid extracts, aiming to contribute to the use of microalgae as sustainable and renewable natural sources of bioactive compounds. In this context, the main work has been developed in the identification of lipidome of several Microalgae under different growth conditions by lipidomics approaches.
