She received her Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry in 2014, focused on oxidative lipidomics. Her current research interest includes the application of mass spectrometry-based methodologies in halophytes, for the elucidation of structure–biological activity relationships of add-value components and their potential biotechnological applications in food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industry. She is assistant research in the Integrated Programme of SR&TD SmartBioR. She has published 45 papers, 2 book chapters. She participated in 7 projects. She is guest Editor of the special issue "Lipid Profiling (Lipidome) of Marine Organisms" in Marine Drugs Journal.
