Master's degree in Food Biochemistry, working during the thesis on the reutilization of by-products. Currently, as a doctoral student, I am working on the development of sustainable methodologies that allow reduce the environmental impact caused by agrofood waste and plastic disposal. In this way, look to agrofood waste as potential raw materials for bioplastics production is one of my research interests. Another research topic that I am looking forward is the development of active and intelligent bio-based materials, compatible with foodstuffs packaging, aiming to extend the agrofood products shelf-life, thus decreasing the agrofood waste production.
