(Chemical) Bonding is what makes life possible

Mariana Lucas is a PhD student in Pharmaceutical Sciences, in the specialization area Medical and Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the Faculdade de Farmácia, Universidade do Porto. She is graduated in Medicinal Chemistry (2015) and her Master in Medicinal Chemistry (2017), by the Universidade da Beira Interior, with the following dissertation theme: “Caraterização fitoquímica e determinação da atividade biológica de extratos de cascas de Salix salviifolia".
Recently, she has been developing your research activity in the area of antioxidant properties of bioactive compounds, namely through a fellowship in a research project financed, in the Applied Chemistry Laboratory at the Faculdade de Farmácia of the Universidade do Porto.
