Completed the Biochemistry Bachelor (2017), and the Biochemistry Master (2019), both at NOVA School of Science and Technology | FCT NOVA, Portugal.
Followed up as intern 10+ research projects, including a two month exchange at Macau University, China (2018) and a one month PhD exchange at Lancaster University, UK (2023).
Presented 10+ oral communications, the most recent was a poster presentation to 30+ people at EUBCE congress (2023), which was recognized as best poster presentation.
Participated in several events as part of the organization team, namely recruitment events from Magma Studio (2018-2019) and sport events as Corrida Solidária FaCiT - FCT NOVA (2019).
Between 2018-2020, was part of a 3 members team working on the development of packages from banana production waste named Bananabox. The project merit has been recognized in 3 contests such as the 1st place at Hack the Planet - Climate-KIC contest (2018).
Currently, PhD student of Chemical and Biological Engineering, with FCT grant, at Laboratory of Membrane Processes, LAQV/REQUIMTE, at FCT NOVA.
Published, in August 2023, a paper entitled "Extraction and Characterization of Cellulose Obtained from Banana Plant Pseudostem" (doi.org/10.3390/cleantechnol5030052), as 1st author, in the "Clean technologies" Journal (MDPI), which was selected as cover issue (September 2023).
