(Chemical) Bonding is what makes life possible

Ana Rita Xavier de Jesus Gameiro has completed her PhD in Chemistry in December 2015 from University of Lisbon, in collaboration with the Eshelman School of Pharmacy and New York University at Abu Dhaby. She has experience in high-pressure catalysis ionic liquids. Currently, she is involved in the CryoDES project, regarding the development and biological evaluation of new Deep Eutectic Solvents as green alternative for the cryopreservation of mammalian cells. Additionally, she is using Natural Deep Eutectic Systems as a new drug delivery system for ocular applications as well as new preservatives of blood cells.
