(Chemical) Bonding is what makes life possible

Marta Marques obtained her MsC in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering in 2017 from Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia - Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
Her master thesis, entitled " The optimization of an adsorption/desorption process for the purification of a natural extract rich in hydroxytyrosol", was developed under supervision of Doctor Manuel Nunes da Ponte (LAQV-REQUIMTE) and Doctor Ana Nunes (LAQV-REQUIMTE).
In 2018 she started her research fellowship in the Biocatalysis and Bioenergy group (LAQV-REQUIMTE) where she started working with supercritical fluids extraction (e.g. supercritical CO2 and subcritical water) for the recovery of bioactive compounds from food industry wastes.
