Associate professor of pharmaceutical quality control and natural products technology at Federal Fluminense University (UFF, Brazil), received her B.S. in pharmacy from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ, Brazil). M.S. studies in plant natural products, especially secondary metabolite biosynthesis at the Institute of Natural Products Research (UFRJ). Ph.D. training in chemistry of natural products with Dr. R. M. Kuster at UFRJ. Postdoctoral scholar in Professor Oliveira’s food chemistry laboratory at Porto University. Since 2011 coordinates the Living Pharmacy Phytotherapeutic Program at UFF. She is currently vice-coordinator of the in Biosystems Engineering Postgraduate Program, at School do Engineering (UFF).
