Ph.D. in Chemistry from University of Évora in 2005. Assistant Professor at the same University involved in the synthesis of Organic Chemistry and Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry curricular units.
Scientific activities are focused on the synthesis and characterization of new compounds with diversified applications in several areas, including synthesis of new molecules with potential biological interest and with applications in new materials, especially the field of energy.
