Liliana has a bachelor and an MsC in biochemistry from the Universities of Minho and Porto. Liliana is currently involved the PhD program in Pharmaceutical Sciences (FFUP), in the specialty of Pharmacology and Pharmacotherapy. Liliana's PhD goal is to find new therapeutic targets for Huntington's disease, a neurodegenerative disease. Before being a PhD student, Liliana participated in two investigation projects as a MSc scholar. Liliana contributed for 4 published articles in a peer-reviewed international journals, 4 published conference abstracts and 10+ oral presentations.
