Andreia Ferreira is currently a Ph.D student in Sustainable Chemistry at the Department of Chemistry of University of Aveiro (UA). She obtained her BSc and MSc degrees in 2009 and 2012, respectively, both in Biotechnology at UA. The main research interests are the structural analysis of marine polysaccharides (microalgae and seaweed) and their valorisation for biomedical and food applications.
