Degree in Microbiology and PhD in Metabolism - Clinical and Experimental. Currently, she is a research fellow of Liga Portuguesa Contra o Cancro - Núcleo Regional do Norte and a researcher of LAQV/REQUIMTE/DRUG DISCOVERY & DEVELOPMENT RESEARCH UNIT (3DUnit) at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Porto (FFUP), aiming to identify and validate new targeted-anticancer therapies under the supervision of Prof. Lucília Saraiva. She intends to uncover new pharmacological opportunities in skin cancer prevention by targeting p53.
