Position
Researcher

After concluding a PhD in Chemical and Biological Engineering at the University of Porto (2013), I moved to LAQV@FCT-NOVA for a Post-Doc. Since 2018, I am hired as Researcher under the Norma Transitória DL 57/2016 - Law 57/2017.

I published 35+ peer-reviewed articles and 1 book chapter, having a h-index of 16 and above 920 citations in Scopus database (Oct. 2023).

Main research interests:
1) Design and optimization of Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA), Electric Swing Adsorption (ESA) and Simulated Moving Bed (SMB) processes for gas separation.
2) Characterization of novel adsorbents (e.g. MOFs and COFs).
3) Formulation of porous materials into millimeter-scale adsorbent particles and structured monoliths by extrusion and 3D printing.
